HTC and Apple settled a patent dispute

HTC and Apple have announced in a joint statement on the achievement of the global settlement agreement, which includes a waiver of all claims and claim custody of cross-licensing agreement for a period of 10 years.

EULA applies to current and future patents owned by both parties. The terms of the agreements are not subject to disclosure.
