system for linking consumers to smartphone data

and all we have come to expect from smartphones,
is available through this wireless personal
information display system. Vuzix smart glasses
offer a wearable visual connection to the Cloud,
through your smartphone or other compatible
smart device, wherever you go.
The Vuzix M100 contains a virtual display with
integrated camera and powerful processing
engine, running an Android OS, to wirelessly
connect via BT or WiFi to your smartphone (iOS or
Android) or other compatible device. Powerful enough to connect to the Internet, run applications and games on
its own, the M100 works in harmony with your smartphone to open up to a plethora of existing and future
applications.
As a Hands Free accessory with AR camera/display functionality, Vuzix smart glasses not only let you answer the
phone with a visual address book, they enable applications from reading text messages and email to visual
navigation along with more advanced features like video recording, and basic augmented reality applications.
The Vuzix M100 supports downloadable applications. Examples of this growing list include – discrete access to
applications from email to the location relevant data, basic first-person augmented reality applications, personal
video recording, and of course gaming.
The Vuzix smart glasses, M100 includes an integrated head tracker and GPS for spacial and
positional awareness and an integrated camera enables video and still image capture for
recording onto the integrated SD card or for sharing clips over the web. The interactive tracking
and integrated camera combined with applications on the M100, and a smartphone linked to the
Cloud, allows for the merging virtual information with the real world.
