ZTE and NVIDIA together to release the first smartphones on Tegra 4


The Chinese company ZTE Corporation has announced a partnership with NVIDIA in order to release the first smartphone based mobile processor NVIDIA Tegra 4. With the first models will be on the market before the middle of this year.

The company notes that it has a long-term strategic partnership with NVIDIA Corporation and plans to launch the first smartphone on Tegra 4 in China in the first half of 2013.

Recall that the company introduced the NVIDIA Tegra processor 4 only in January at the Consumer Electronics Show CES 2013 in Las Vegas.

From the words of ZTE, a processor from NVIDIA Tegra 4 will allow the company to implement its smartphones super-fast web surfing, speed up boot time, get enhanced gaming experience and improve energy efficiency. This is made possible by the 72 customizable graphics NVIDIA GeForce cores and 4-core architecture ARM Cortex-A15.
