Phones4U, a UK retailer, says that people are showing a lot more interest in the Galaxy S 4 than they did last year with the Galaxy S III. The number of pre-registrations of the just announced Samsung flagship device is 40% more than the numbers received for the Galaxy S III after 48 hours of being launched. Let’s not forget that the Galaxy S III set a record of being the most pre-ordered Android smartphone when it launched. Chief Commercial Officer Scott Hooten said that the anticipation for the Samsung Galaxy S 4 has been “astounding,” with the phone garnering the most pre-notification requests of any handset launched in 2013.
Phones4U is even predicting that the Galaxy S IV could be the top selling device of the year. UK retailer EE has also been very impressed by the amount of interest people are taking in the Galaxy S IV.
