Tele2 has summed up the results of I quarter of 2013
The mobile operator Tele2 Russia announced its consolidated financial and operating results of the company in the I quarter of 2013.
In I quarter 2013 the company showed strong growth of key financial indicators:
Operating revenues increased by 13% in comparison with the I quarter of 2012 and amounted to 15.4 billion rubles;
EBITDA amounted to 5.6 billion rubles, an increase of 18% compared to the same period last year. EBITDA margin increased by 1.5 percentage points to 36.4%;
In the I quarter of 2013, investment in IT-infrastructure and technological development of the network was 1.5 billion rubles.
In the I quarter of 2013 have been improved core operating performance:
The subscriber base of the company increased by 9% compared with I quarter 2012, the cumulative number of subscribers in Russia totaled 22.9 million people;
Average revenue per user (ARPU) rose 3% in ruble terms compared with the same period last year and amounted to 225 rubles;
The average number of minutes used (MoU) in the whole of Russia was 260, compared with I quarter 2012 the figure rose to 5%.
