Alleged Benchmark Scores Of XiaoMi Mi-3 Leak, Runs On 2.1GHz Processor And Android 4.2.1

XiaoMi Mi-2 aka XiaoMi Phone 2 was the first device that runs on Snapdragon S4 Pro. It was announced more than a year and the successor of XiaoMi Mi-2, the XiaoMi Mi-2S which is powered by Snapdragon 600 has been announced a few weeks ago. The question is about the upcoming XiaoMi Mi-3 aka XiaoMi Phone 3.
As the Snapdragon 600 features in the current XiaoMi Mi-2S, it is likely that the upcoming XiaoMi Mi-3 will feature the Snapdragon 800. The relationship between XiaoMi and Snapdragon has been fantastic in the past. This is why XiaoMi was the first company to use the Snapdragon S4 Pro and do not rule out the possibility that XiaoMi will become the first company to use Snapdragon 800, again.
According to Chinese sources, the alleged benchmark scores of XiaoMi Mi-3 aka XiaoMi Phone 3 were spotted on the AnTuTu Benchmark result. As you can see there are multiple devices with the names of Mi 3. The benchmark reveals that the XiaoMi Mi-3 runs on Android 4.2.1 Jelly Bean and has a 2.1GHz processor that clocked up to 2.1GHz. The processor is likely to be the Snapdragon 800 that clocked up to 2.1GHz frequency.
That’s not all. The benchmark results revealed further that the Mi-3 devices had the display resolution of 1920 x 1080, which is the Full HD. XiaoMi Mi-3 will eclipse the 720p of XiaoMi Mi-2 and XiaoMi Mi-2S.
One thing that casted doubts is the benchmark scores of the Mi-3 devices. The AnTuTu Benchmark results revealed that Mi-3 scored more than 80,000 points. It is unlikely that the XiaoMi Mi-3 will score such high points as the highest benchmark score record is achieved by the Lenovo K900(powered by 2.0GHz Intel Clover Trail+) with more than 36,000 points. The Snapdragon 800 to score more than 80,000 points? Unlikely to happen.
Another doubt is the results of the Mi-3 could be fake after all. Maybe someone from China was too free and edited the devices information and ran benchmark tests.
The second series of images showed the alleged handset of XiaoMi Mi-3 as well. The XiaoMi Mi-3 is likely to feature the “standard size” display, 5-inch.
