Wireless keyboard with air mouse and bidirectional speaker for Android (videos)
Wireless keyboard and mouse demonstrated with S4 and Android mini PC
The following videos show a couple of nice Android gadgets in action – the Measy RC13 and the Mele F10.
These are wireless Android keyboards which also have an air mouse built into them. This means that the keyboard and mouse are combined into one connection, which means that if you’re connecting them to a handset you don’t need to choose between one or the other if you only have one USB port available (via USB OTG).
The wireless keyboard and air mouse can be connected to either a smartphone (such as the Samsung Galaxy S4 which is demoed below) via USB OTG or to an Android set-top box/Android mini PC. Both setups are shown in the videos below, which come from YouTube user veryannoyingname.
The Measy RC13 has a bidirectional speaker built into it, which means that you can use it for voice commands and Skype calls. There’s also a 3.5mm headphone jack included, which means that you can watch a video, listen to music or make a voice call without disturbing other people.
The reviewer tells us that the Measy RC 13 is now his keyboard of choice thanks to its tab key and voice command functions, which do not work on the Mele F10. However it is noted that the Mele F10 has slightly better air mouse functionality.
The first video below shows the Measy RC13 in action with an Android set-top box and runs through the various keys that are available on the keyboard.
To demonstrate the versatility of such Android setups, the second video shows the Mele F10 connected to a 10-year-old cathode ray TV.
The third video shows the keyboards connected to the Samsung Galaxy S4. If you wanted to connect the keyboard to your handset and have the handset’s display shown on a bigger screen/TV, you could connect the keyboard via USB OTG and connect the display usingMiracast.
