Is This The Motorola Droid RAZR Ultra? Or A Customized Moto X / Motorola X Phone?
It’s no secret anymore that Motorola is actively working on several new devices. We have the Motorola X Phone (or Moto X) which is supposed to be an entire line-up, we have the recently leaked Motorola (Droid) RAZR Ultra and RAZR M Ultra, and the rumored next Motorola smartwatch (which according to one of ours sources is as real as it can get – he calls it the X Watch).
Regardless of what you might think about the rumored Moto X specs, the manufacturer is definitely working on something different, something new, and we can’t wait to get our hands on these devices. Abandoning the specs race doesn’t mean that the phone will be sluggish. After all, optimization goes a long way these days.
But less talking more looking at an incredibly thin, Kevlar-plated smartphone whose picture we’ve unearthed from the underground. Check it out and join us after the break.

Motorola Droid RAZR Ultra or Motorola X Phone ?
Ok, what the hell is this thing? Obviously, is the Ferrari edition of an upcoming Motorola smartphone. Why upcoming? Because it doesn’t look like anything Motorola has released so far and because of what’s engraved on its back – “Elite Partners – New Orleans 2013“.
We’ve done some digging and we found out that the city of New Orleans, Louisiana is the proud owner of the NOLA Motorsport Park. And guess what event will this Motorsport Park host towards the end of October? The 2nd edition of the “CCR/Ferrari French Quarter Classic“. It makes sense doesn’t it?
Now back to our question: Is this the Moto X or the RAZR Ultra (or, why not, the RAZR M Ultra)? Given the fact that a placeholder page on Motorola’s website was recently stating about the Droid Ultra that its “high-grade DuPont™ Kevlar body proves you can be even thinner and still be tough as steel“, we’re inclined to believe that the smartphone pictured above is one of the upcoming Motorola Droid Ultra devices.
However, given the fact that it has been claimed that Moto X will allow for an unbelievable level of customization, we shouldn’t automatically dismiss the possibility that what we’re looking at is actually the X Phone.
What do you think? RAZR Ultra or Moto X? Let us know in the comments section.
NOTE: As recently confirmed by The Verge and by our own sources, the Moto X and RAZR Ultra will be two totally different devices.
