60% of Ukrainians are buying phones with two SIM-cards

In Ukraine, buyers are moving en masse to dvuhsimochny phones. In June, the share of sales of such devices has reached 59%. The proportion of such vehicles in the last 2 years has increased almost 3-fold, which shows the growth needs of Ukrainians in these devices. In contrast, countries with a long history of service contract mobile customers in Ukraine, the acquisition of another mobile number, as well as switching to a different mobile operator is not difficult for the buyer. Due to this, many Ukrainians today to 2 or even 3 for mobile phones. According to GfK Ukraine, from 406 thousand mobile phones sold in Ukraine in June 2013, more than 59% - this is the device for 2 sim cards. Following the growth of dvuhsimochny apprat in mobile phones is increasing and the proportion of the same smartphone. Over the past 8 months, sales of smart phones with two SIM-cards rose by almost 2 times. The number of two-card models in the top 50 best-selling smartphones in Ukraine has increased from 5 to 23 models. In September 2012, Ukraine has sold only 43 thousand dvuhsimochny smartphones and they took only 24% of smartphones, in June 2013 sales rose to 106,000 units, accounting for 47% of smartphones.
