Sales of smartphones with an extremely low price in the near future will continue to grow, as evidenced by even the intention of Apple to release a budget version of the iPhone. According to the company ABI Research, sales of such vehicles in the period up to 2018 will grow the fastest. This year, the company forecast - 238 million smartphones costing less than $ 200, and for 2018 - already 758 million. The reason for this boom is a Chinese manufacturer of chipsets MediaTek, which provides for a more than reasonable money solutions for two-and quad-core smartphone platform Android. Popularity cheap, but the performance of the device is growing around the world and in the near future, their share will amount to 44% of the the total market. This situation has the benefit of customers in developing countries, but it does impose certain restrictions on the smartphone manufacturers. Large companies already present in the market will be forced to reduce its profitability for the sake of market share.
