THE NEW NEXUS 7 DID NOT SURVIVE THE CRASH TEST

Resource Android Authority continues to conduct crash tests (more drop-test, drop test) the latest gadgets. This time the test was subjected to an updated Nexus 7, which was announced recently with Android 4.3 Jelly Bean .
The plate was not exposed to any extreme tests. It just "dropped" from the chest to the paving slabs in different positions (screen up / down, ends down), simulating a situation that can happen to any of us in real life.
Already after the first fall of the tablet showed his insecurity - it just stopped working. This is despite the fact that the external damage to him after the fall was not particularly. Last year's Nexus 7 in a similar situation was more damage, but it continued to operate as if nothing had happened.
Further fall led to the formation of numerous cracks in the glass, the back panel is moved away from the screen, and on it are having chips and scratches. After the fourth, final, throw in the display and did a hole, through which could be seen filling the plate.
Thus, the new Nexus 7 has proved extremely fragile gadget, which must be used with great caution. How was the test, look in the video below:

Battery capacity - 3950 mAh, Google promises the ability to view HD-video for 9 hours and web-browsable within 10 hours.
