Philips Leash InRange: Bluetooth-fob

The company Philips has introduced a new Bluetooth-fob AEA1000 InRange, which notifies you of forgotten things and makes them easy to find, while it can be placed in a purse or on a keychain.

The free app from the AppStore allows you to define a safe distance between this or that subject and iPhone . When the distance is out of range, the application sends a notification to the phone. Optionally, you can configure SafeTime, specify the period during which the key fob does not have to send the notice. To find the item at a given radius, just press the Home button on the iPhone / iPad , and the device InRange, fixed on the subject, will give the signals. To find the iPhone / iPad , you have to press the button on the device InRange.

At the core of the device is a wireless Bluetooth technology with low power consumption, thus ensuring long life battery of the device. Even with a key fob InRange you can make calls from your phone via Bluetooth.
