Tele2 has summed up the results of 9 months of 2013
The operator Tele2 Russia announced its consolidated financial and operating results for the first 9 months of 2013. During this period the company has shown steady growth in key financial indicators:
Operating revenues increased by 12% compared with 9 months of 2012 and amounted to 48.8 billion rubles;
EBITDA amounted to 18 billion rubles, an increase of 13% compared to the same period last year;
EBITDA margin was 36.8%;
investment in IT-infrastructure and technological development of the network was 4.2 billion rubles.
In addition, for the first 9 months of 2013 were improved core operating performance:
subscriber base has increased by 6% compared to the first 9 months of 2012, the cumulative number of subscribers in Russia totaled 23,679 thousand;
average revenue per user (ARPU) increased by 4% in ruble terms compared with the same period last year and amounted to 234 rubles;
the average number of minutes used (MoU) in the whole of Russia was 264, compared with 9 months of 2012 it increased by 4%.
In the third quarter of 2013, the company together with the shareholder - VTB Group - adopted a new development strategy, including the optimal scenarios for future growth with available market opportunities, Provorotov said Alexander, president and CEO of Tele2 Russia.
