Samsung: There was no data theft from Samsung accounts

The day before yesterday we reported about a security issue with the registration of a Samsung account on a Samsung smartphone. Registration data has been transferred for a while in plain text and thus unencrypted, so they were easily intercepted.

Samsung has released a press release on the same day, after the error has been fixed.Samsung assured that there has been no data theft, which is not quite open up, like Samsung may be safe there. An unencrypted data transmission can finally be heard even where Samsung is not it will notice - namely, for example in a public, unencrypted Wi-Fi.
