The Samsung Galaxy S5 will have an AMOLED display but LTPS product from Sharp!

We have in recent years been able to know the AMOLED display products directly from Samsung and it was quite reasonable to think that this particular type of panel would be adopted even on the Galaxy S5 . Unfortunately, however, a voice coming from China informs us that for production problems, Samsung will not take on his next top range of this type of panel, but instead will use a display type  LTPS (low temperature polysilicon). The panel will be directly produced in Taiwan by Sharp and the reason for this change is due to a considerable difficulties encountered in that Samsung would produce AMOLED display with a resolution of 2K. Moreover, his change of direction would have occurred even seen the growing interest in and commitment to the development (and production?) of flexible displays for its future devices.

In any case, remember that even the display LTPS can be perfectly able to handle very high quality images because in addition to being able to support a very high number of pixels (in this case the resolution 2K), appear to have a very high response speed, high brightness and a life time generally higher (even more than the normal AMOLED). At this point it is confirmed again as the Galaxy S5 will not have a flexible display (currently only present on LG G Flex ) but will only increase the number of pixels on the panel guaranteeing in any case definitely a very high quality.

It may seem curious surely the Korean company's choice to outsource the production of the display of the Galaxy S5 to Sharp , however, remember that Samsung currently has in his hand a piece of the company Nipponica bought last spring (which may make the news more than likely! ).
