Next generation Gear VR pops up, possibly for Galaxy Note 7
A possible next-gen version of the Gear VR virtual reality headset shows up in India. The probability is low that this is a new version with USB Type C connector for the Galaxy Note 7 goes.
In the Indian import database Zauba pops up a Gear VR variant of the hitherto unused model code SM-R323. The R320 was the first ever Gear VR for the Note 4, the R321 was the issue for the S6, and the SM-R322 is the current Consumer Edition of the unit.
The Galaxy Note 7 is expected to be equipped with a USB Type-C connector , so he does not fit into the current Gear VR. So it is not unreasonable that its Samsung VR headset will update soon with a new connection, so that the new discs is not beyond VR boat.
Obviously it is still early for definitive conclusions - which we draw until 2 August, when Samsung officially unveils the Note 7 . But for now, we are hopeful that there is indeed a new Gear VR is in the pipeline.
