Sony Mobile confirms Android 7.0 Nougat plans; Xperia Z2 and Z3 range not included

Sony Mobile has today confirmed it’s Android 7.0 Nougat plans for its Xperia devices. The company says that it’s most recent devices will receive Android 7.0 Nougat including the Xperia Z3+/Z4, the Z5 family and all of the Xperia X family. Unfortunately, it’s perhaps not surprising to learn that the Xperia Z2 and Xperia Z3 range will no longer be supported.

Sony Mobile will make Android 7.0, Nougat available for:
– Xperia Z3+
– Xperia Z4 Tablet
– Xperia Z5
– Xperia Z5 Compact
– Xperia Z5 Premium
– Xperia X
– Xperia XA
– Xperia XA Ultra
– Xperia X Performance
