Xperia XZ announced with triple image sensing technology

Sony Mobile has announced the Xperia XZ (F8331) and Xperia XZ Dual (F8332) at IFA, the latest Sony flagship and the first device with triple imaging sensing technology. Sony’s new camera sensors include a laser autofocus sensor with distance sensing technology that should help to keep pictures focused in low-light conditions. There is also a new RGBC-IR sensor with colour sensing technology to adjust white balance depending on your environment. RGBC-IR stands for red, green, blue, clear and infrared.

Sony’s camera software has also been updated to include a greater variety of manual settings to control shutter speed and focus. On the video side, the Xperia XZ will be able to shoot 4K UHD video and also includes software-implemented 5-axis stabilisation (in FHD 1080p video only).
