Xperia XZ Dual manual confirms hybrid SIM tray
The user guide for the Sony Xperia XZ and Xperia XZ Dual is now available for all to download (see links below). We are able to confirm that the Xperia XZ Dual will operate a hybrid SIM card slot, as has been seen for all dual-SIM Xperia models launched this year.
What this means is that Xperia XZ Dual owners who plan to use two SIM cards will not be able to utilise a microSD card. A memory card is supported, but to do so, you will have to give up one of your SIM card slots.
To compensate for this, Sony offers 64GB of internal storage for dual SIM models versus the single SIM models which only have 32GB. However, we’re sure many Sony fans would prefer the company to revert back to older handsets where dual SIM cards were supported as well as a microSD card at the same time.
