ABBYY company announced today it has received awards Silver Mobile Star Award for its own means of developing software for mobile devices - ABBYY Mobile OCR SDK.
Seventh annual Mobile Star Awards prize was awarded to the best companies and products on the market of mobile and wireless technologies. Award established organization MobileVillage, one of the most respected media in the field of mobile technologies.
The company notes that its technology ABBYY Mobile SDK will introduce the leaders of production of mobile devices like Nokia and Samsung, have signed contracts to integrate ABBYY technologies into their latest machines.
ABBYY Mobile OCR SDK is a developer tool designed for creating OCR-compact applications for mobile devices. The technology provides high accuracy recognition of Cyrillic, Latin and Greek characters in the lyrics for more than 50 languages. The technology can be integrated into various platforms for mobile devices, including Windows Mobile, Symbian OS, ucLinux and LINUX. Technology ABBYY Mobile SDK includes a unique algorithms for auto-correction of uncertain imagery, as well as correcting distortions and processing of structured documents.
