ComNews Research NCRC Ukraine proposed new forms of statistical reports operators
Company ComNews Research reported that the National Commission for the Regulation of Ukraine (NCRC) will adopt statistical forms, which it developed. A recommendation given the Scientific and Technical Council (STC) in the NCRC at the last meeting.
Statistical forms - reports on the activities of operators, which are filled by all market participants on a regular basis. The main purpose of statistical forms, the proposed ComNews Research, is the most effective analysis of telecommunications markets, identified by the Commission to regulate. In drafting SomNews Research took into account the experience of national regulators from the European Union.
Among the innovations proposed by the specialists ComNews Research, noted methodologically correct market segmentation and long-distance communications, Internet access services, the inclusion in the statistical form of the information on the volume of traffic generated in the networks of cellular and fixed communications, allocation of separate blocks of information on the quality of services. These and other points to a large extent, address the shortcomings in the evaluation of the volume market segments.
In addition to the projects of statistical forms, experts ComNews Research suggested to consider the concept of a Unified Storage statistics NCRC. In addition, the members of the Board was presented an original method of assessing the tariff policy of the operators.
