Dallas Sprint Customers Enjoy Enhanced Network Coverage and Capacity
Wireless network improvements keep customers connected to the Internet, e-mail, GPS services, messaging, social networks and more Sprint received J.D. Power and Associates Award for Wireless Call Quality in Southwest Region
Sprint (NYSE: S):DALLAS-- Sprint (NYSE: S) wireless customers in the Dallas and Fort Worth markets are experiencing stronger wireless service as a result of recent local network enhancements. During 2008, Sprint invested more than $19 million in the Dallas and Fort Worth markets for network expansion and enhancements for its Sprint Nationwide Network and Nextel National Network. In addition, Sprint invested more than $105 million throughout the state of Texas.

Power and Associates award for “Highest Call Quality Performance Among Wireless Cell Phone Users in the Southwest Region (KS, MO, OK, AR, and TX) in a Tie” by J.D. Power and Associates (Source: J.D. Power 2008 Wireless Call Quality Performance Study – Volume 2, Sept. 4, 2008).*
