Resource Business Mirror reported that Acer is preparing to release a smartphone based on the platform Android, which will be on sale in September this year. This was stated by one member of the company. At the exhibition Mobile World Congress and CeBIT this year, Acer reported its communicators based on the development of E-Ten Information Systems, which Acer acquired last year. In addition to formal series of Tempo, is also preparing a model code-named F1, L1, C1 and E1, which are running Windows Mobile 6.5.

The source also reported that the A1 and a few models of Acer (probably just above WM-communicators F1, L1, C1 and E1) to buy them at the same time - in September.
