CenterTelecom and Sky Link plans to create a network MVNO in the Central Federal District

JSC Center Telecom "and CJSC" Sky Link "signed an agreement on the organization of virtual networks of mobile radio communications (MVNO) through the use of network resources IMT-MC-450. Companies are going to build and put into operation a new network IMT-MC-450 in the Bryansk, Smolensk, Kursk, Lipetsk, Belgorod, Orel and Tambov regions. Under the agreement, CenterTelecom acquire the equipment necessary to provide network coverage IMT-MC-450 in the respective territory, as well as undertake the necessary work on the installation of telecommunication systems. Sky Link, in turn, provide CenterTelecom radio frequency resource for the organization MVNO in the listed regions.

We have already implemented a joint pilot project to provide telecommunications services using a network of standard IMT-MC-450 in Kostroma, Ivanovo and Yaroslavl regions, which proved the effectiveness of the existing scheme of interaction CenterTelecom and Sky Link. The current draft provides for the sharing of technical resources of our existing networks of CDMA 450, as well as the joint construction of new networks in the regions where Sky Link has the license and frequency resource. This 14 RF subjects in CFA, with a covering not only major cities but also throughout the region, with a total capacity of the network to 1 million subscribers.

In addition, under the terms of the agreement, Sky Link will provide CenterTelecom resources already existing networks, IMT-MC-450 in Moscow and Moscow region, as well as in Vladimir, Voronezh, Tver, Kaluga and Ryazan regions.
