"Eldorado" by the end of every third year to sell a laptop with WiMax
The company "Eldorado" reported that up to 2009 will be the country's largest seller of laptops with WiMax. According to the "Eldorado", the general Russian sales of laptops with wireless capability for the 4G technology, its share exceeds 30%.
In the 4 th quarter of 2009 Eldorado sells 60 thousand laptops with technology WiMax. Total, according to analysts, on Russia's market will be sold around 210 thousand PCs with built-4G-adapter. As a result, the company plans to realize 100 thousand computers with built-in WiMax, and the company's share of this market will reach 30%.
To date, in Russia the share of notebooks with the support of 4G is about 19% of total PCs shipped, but during 2010 it is planned to gradually increase. This is due to the expansion of WiMax networks to cover the Russian regions. According to the estimates of analysts the company "Eldorado" the end of 2010 the share of WiMax-notebooks will be no less than 40% of the total sales of notebooks.
Today there are about 270 thousand active users 4G-Internet (including users of modems). Of these, 60% occurring in Moscow, 30% in Russia and 10% for other regions.
