EE Times Announces Call for Entries Now Open for Sixth Annual ACE Awards
Preeminent Awards Program Recognizes Excellence in the Electronics Industry.
SAN FRANCISCO -- EE Times announced that submissions are now being accepted for its sixth Annual Creativity in Electronics (ACE) Awards recognizing the industry's creators of technology that demonstrate cutting-edge breakthroughs, innovation and leadership driving the global economy and influencing our daily lives. The honors will be presented at the ACE Awards Event on April 27, 2010, as part of the largest electronic systems design event in North America, the Embedded Systems Conference Silicon Valley.
Awards are presented in 12 categories and are judged by a blue-ribbon panel of industry visionaries, leading technologists, educators and Wall Street executives. Entries for the EE Times ACE Awards are now being accepted on http://www.EE Times.com/ace.
"We give out the ACE Awards not just to recognize the greatest accomplishments made by teams of engineers and executives in the electronics industry but also to celebrate the promise of a better future contained by these new technologies," said Junko Yoshida, editor in chief of EE Times. "I'm proud of the fact that the ACE Awards are seen by so many as the electronics industry's highest honor."
Last year, a distinguished panel of industry judges selected eight winners from more than 250 entries. Among the recognized companies and individuals were Microchip as "Company of the Year," BLADE Network Technologies as "Startup Company of the Year," Nacip Sayiner, President and CEO of Silicon Laboratories' as "Executive of the Year" and Motorola as "Design Team of the Year."
