Taiwan science parks see 2009 total revenues down almost 14% on year

Hsinchu Science Park (HSP), Southern Taiwan Science Park (STSP) and Central Taiwan Science Park (CTSP), the three science parks developed and operated by the government in Taiwan, generated total revenues of NT$1.5857 trillion (US$48.3 billion) in 2009, dropping by 13.9% from 2008 mainly due to the impact of the global financial crisis, according to the Science Park Administration under the National Science Council.
