Pantech Vega IM-A650S smartphone
Koreas smartphone maker Pantech announced the lightest smartphone with Google Android 2.1 in Korea.
The Vega IM-A650S features a 3.7 inch AMOLED Display and a 1 Ghz Snapdragon processor. This smartphone will be also rolled out in the USA and other markets.
At&T and Verizon are in talks with Pantech to sell the smartphone in the United States.
The Vega, powered by a 2.1 Android version, supports flash and mobile payment system, T-Cash, a 500 MB internal memory and an 8GB external memory. It weighs only 114 grams, sports a sleek design and comes in four colors ? white, black, pink and gold-brown.
Pantech want to introduce 16 new smartphones next year most of them with Android. But Pantech talks also with Microsoft about a windows 7 phone.
