CTIA AND WIRELESS INDUSTRY LEADERS RECOGNIZE HTC DEVICES WITH PRODUCT INNOVATION AWARDS

HTC EVO 3D, HTC ThunderBolt and HTC EVO View 4G
collectively take home 4 awards for HTC

Orlando, Fla./ Taipei, Taiwan – On the heels of winning the Best Device Manufacturer award at the GSM Association’s 15th Global Mobile Awards, HTC Corporation was recognized again by the industry for its product innovation and distinctive design philosophy at the recent International CTIA WIRELESS 2011®.

Winning four awards total, HTC was recognized by CTIA’s Emerging Technology (E-Tech) Awards for the HTC ThunderBolt, the world’s first LTE smartphone on Verizon, in the phones/smartphone category. Additionally, HTC’s newly unveiled HTC EVO 3D was awarded the “Best in Show” award and “Best Smartphone” award by Laptop Magazine. The HTC EVO View 4G, also unveiled for the first time at CTIA, won the “Best of CTIA” award by Notebooks.com.

CTIA’s E-Tech Awards recognized leaders in mobile applications, mobile consumer electronics, enterprise and vertical markets and network infrastructure. In addition to the 14 awards categories, industry peers voted for their favorite entries online and onsite via text during the show.
