Nokia Siemens Networks appoints Eduardo Araujo to lead Latin America business

Nokia Siemens Networks has appointed Eduardo Araujo to lead its business in Latin America. Araujo, a Brazilian national, joins the company from Ingram Micro Corporation where he was president of its Latin American region. Araujo has previously held senior regional leadership roles for Hewlett-Packard in Latin America and the Caribbean. He will be based in Dallas, Texas, and his appointment is effective from May 18 2011.

Araujo succeeds Armando Almeida, who took on leadership of the company's Global Services business unit at the beginning of 2011. The Latin America region has been managed in the interim by Aluizio Byrro who will continue as chairman of the region’s advisory board.
