Acer TravelMate 8481 - small business notebook
Acer has introduced the efficient, slim and lightweight notebook in the case of magnesium-aluminum alloy - TravelMate 8481, a frame display which is only 4 mm. Notebook Acer TravelMate 8481 is equipped with a second-generation processor, Intel Core, Intel HD Graphics Graphics 3000 or NVIDIA, the NVIDIA support Optimus.
TravelMate 8481 can be simultaneously equipped with a standard hard disk capacity of up to 320 GB solid state drive (mSata) 64GB, multi card reader, DDR3 memory up to 8GB, USB 3.0
TravelMate8481 comes with frameless LCD Acer ComfyView diagonal 35.6 cm (14 inches), LED backlight, HD resolution of 1366x768 and an aspect ratio of 16:9. Also TravelMate 8481 is equipped with technology Power-Off USB Charging, which makes it possible to charge a smart phone or other USB-devices not including the computer.
The next-generation DASP (Disk protection against impact, bumps and vibrations / Disk Anti-Shock Protection) ensures reliable protection of the hard drive from damage. Case, in which is installed HDD, provides additional cushioning from bumps and jolts.
To protect the system from overheating and to keep at this level of performance in the TravelMate 8481 has a technology Acer DustDefender, designed specifically to prevent accumulation of dust inside the cooling system. A reverse mechanism in the cooling system takes the dust out of the case.
