Ericsson and "MegaFon" will jointly develop M2M-communication in Russia


During the forum, "Open Innovation" in Moscow, the company Ericsson has announced a strategic partnership with "MegaFon" market development intercomputer (M2M) communications. According to the agreement, the development of M2M segment will be implemented on the basis of cloud solutions Ericsson Device Connection Platform, which will provide "MegaFon" cost-effective management of large numbers of connected devices. Under the agreement, Ericsson will provide the "MegaFon" consulting and services for expert assessment of the prospects of the Russian M2M market, and deliver a system integrator of solutions. According to the vision Ericsson, by 2020 in the world, there would be 50 billion connected devices that will interact with applications and control systems via mobile networks. Anything that can benefit from the connection will be connected to the network - this will open a number of new features, both for people and for businesses and society as a whole.
