Samsung could sell more than 60 million smartphones in the fourth quarter
UBS analyst firm predicted sales of smartphones from Samsung Electronics in the fourth quarter of this year. According to experts, will be sold over 60 million of these devices, to be exact - about 61.5 million. For comparison, in the third quarter of the South Korean company has sold about 57 million smartphones. Analysts believe that such sales will be achieved mainly through devices based on OS Android, and as low-cost devices such as Samsung Galaxy Pocket or Galaxy Y, and functional - Samsung Galaxy S III and Galaxy Note II. Of the more than 60 million smartphones Samsung, according to UBS, 7,000,000 constitute "planshetofony" Galaxy Note II, as already sold 3 million. As for the flagship smartphone Samsung Galaxy S III, then they in this quarter can be sold around 15 million, it is only in October dispersed 5.5 million such devices, and since its release in May this year, the world has sold more than 30 million Samsung Galaxy S III.
