life :) announced the results of the first quarter of 2013

Ukrainian mobile services operator life :) announced financial and operating results for the first quarter of 2013, noting that the company increased its revenue by 8.6%, while EBITDA - by 12.7%. These results were achieved thanks to the growth of the subscriber base, the consumption of additional services, such as data services.

INCOME : In the first quarter of 2013, life :) revenue grew by 8.6%, to UAH 792.5 million, compared with USD 729.9 million in the first quarter of 2012.
EBITDA and EBITDA MARGIN : In the first quarter of 2013, EBITDA grew by 12.7%, to UAH 223.8 million, compared with USD 198.5 million in the first quarter of 2012. At the same time, the EBITDA margin increased by 1.0 points to 28.2%, compared with 27.2% in the first quarter of 2012.
SUBSCRIBER BASE : In the first quarter of 2013, life :) has increased three-month active subscriber base by 15.5% to 8.2 million, accounting for 1.1 million new subscribers per year. At the same time, the total subscriber base grew by 12.1%, to 11.1 million
ARPU : The overall ARPU in the first quarter of 2013 decreased by 4.0% and amounted to UAH 23.8, compared to USD 24.8 in the first quarter of 2012. However, the three-month, ARPU decreased by 5.2% to Rs 32.7, down from 34.5 USD in the first quarter of 2012.
