"Beeline" launches children's access point WiFi
The mobile operator "Beeline" announced the launch across Russia of a new service to provide access via the "Beeline» WiFi in child and adolescent content hosted on the Internet.
The service will allow partners, organizing access to the Internet network "Beeline» WiFi, providing its customers under 18 years of age, free access to the portal "Web-land" - directory of sites tested and recommended by experts in child and adolescent content.
Child Protection Day, more than 95% of the network "Beeline» WiFi throughout Russia will support this service. Subscribers will be able to use it all the operators who have devices with WiFi-adapter. Fee for the traffic to the portal "Web-land" will be charged.
"Web-land" - a joint project of JSC "VimpelCom" and the Russian State Children's Library (RGDB), whose goal is to create a list of safe and useful online resources for child development and learning. Portal Resources regularly updated and checked by expert advice. Thus, tested and approved by the resource enters the catalog "white list" of sites containing verified information and interesting to children.
