In June 2013 Jelly Bean walked Gingerbread
Problems updating Android operating system for smart phones, the users are regularly displayed on the chart the spread versions. June of this year was one of the turning points in the struggle of old and new. Last month, the first version of Android Gingerbread OS ceded the leadership of a new one. It is interesting that such was not the Ice Cream Sandwich (4.0.x), and Jelly Bean (4.1 and 4.2). Gingerbread version of the current version of the API level 10 was introduced in February 2011, and the first version of the API level 9 out even earlier, in December 2010, but since then all the smart phones have been updated. However, in order to calculate that the modern versions have bypassed outdated, we have to sum up the performance versions on a conventional name, otherwise the situation is different: the version 2.3 is 34.1%, 32.3%, 4.1 version and the most recent, only 4.2 to 5.6%. Active growth versions of Jelly Bean began in May of this year and was carried out mainly by Gingerbread and Ice Cream Sandwich. Version of Eclair and Froyo retain low level of popularity that almost does not change. An important point is the fact that the displacement of parts of different versions has led to the fact that more than 60% of smartphones in the market running Android in version 4.x interface Holo, which should encourage developers to more widespread use of this interface in their applications.
