MTS and Renaissance Insurance launching a "Smart car insurance"

The telecommunications operator MTS and Renaissance Insurance Group announced the launch of a joint product for enterprise customers, which allows the calculation of the cost of insurance for fleets based remote monitoring using the technology of mobile data between devices.

"Smart car insurance" provides for installation on vehicles of corporate clients of the insurance company MTS telematics equipment which, using M2M services will allow the operator to collate and analyze information on the nature of the operation and manner of driving of vehicles: the time spent in the car driving, distribution routes, the number of sudden acceleration and braking and other parameters. Based on the data for the customer will be calculated individual insurance rates.

By entering into an insurance contract with Renaissance Insurance, the customer is able to use the service concessional MTS "mobile workers", which allows you to determine the location of company vehicles online, as well as generate reports on all movements of vehicles, including the mileage and fuel consumption. With the new joint product enterprise customers will also be available analytical tools to help, according to the company, to assess the quality of the operation of the fleet, to identify the "problem" of drivers and improve fleet management.
