MTS-Ukraine "Androids" took first place in the ranking of smartphones
The mobile operator "MTS Ukraine" announced the statistics on the number of smart phones that are registered in the operator's network by the end of the second quarter of 2013.
At the end of the second quarter of 2013 the number of smartphone users "MTS Ukraine" has exceeded 3.7 million units, which is 55% higher than it was in the second quarter of 2012. In the ranking of mobile operating systems first came to the fore platform Android.
In the operator's network at the end of the second quarter of this year, there were 1.57 million Android-devices, which is 14% more than in the previous quarter and 230% higher than the result of the second quarter of 2012. In second place - Symbian based smartphones with ever-declining share of the market, followed by devices running iOS (+109% YoY) and bada (+50% yoy). Completing the top five rankings devices on Windows, which number over the year an annual increase of 119%.
