Sony Xperia Z1 coming to EE, retweet suggests

EE has taken to Twitter for a rare retweet of Sony's Xperia Z1 tease that we reported on last night, suggesting the 4G company will be stocking the anticipated Android device.
Looking through the rest of EE's Twitter account, it seems the retweets are rare, with almost all of the messages promoting EE's own products and services, as well as replying to queries from customers.
The original tweet showed off Sony's next Android handset by teasing the side button now famous as a symbol of the Xperia Z family. We've seen it on the Xperia ZXperia Tablet Z and the Xperia Z Ultra. So the Xperia Z1 should also feature the button and, hopefully, similarly impressive specs with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor and rumoured 20-megapixel camera.
We have contacted EE for a comment and were told, "we do not comment on rumour and speculation".
Now we just have to wait for IFA 2013 in Berlin. Expect all the details to be revealed in the Sony press conference on Wednesday 4 September, where Pocket-lint will be bringing you all the news, as it happens.
