T-Mobile Makes Calling and Texting to Italy Free for Customers
T-Mobile is making it free to call from the United States to Italy after strong earthquakes rocked the country. In addition, roaming fees will be waived for customers in the area.
“The earthquakes in Italy are devastating,” said John Legere, president and CEO of T-Mobile. “Our prayers and support are with everyone involved. Please be sure to check on your loved ones.”
The offer applies to all T-Mobile Simple Choice prepaid and postpaid customers, as well as customers of MetroPCS, GoSmart Mobile, and WalMart Family Mobile. It is effective from August 24 through August 28, 2016. Customers will see regular charges on their bills with corresponding credits.
