XIAOMI KICKS OFF ITS 3RD GLOBAL PHOTOGRAPHY CHALLENGE

Xiaomi unveiled its 3rd Xiaomi Photography Challenge, giving mobile photographers an opportunity to showcase the beauty of the world while standing a chance to win cash and Xiaomi smartphones of up to US$40,000 in value.

This year’s challenge is based on the theme “See the World”, and will be divided into four categories: See the Details, See the Nights, See the Season, and See the Faces. The photography challenge hopes to encourage more Xiaomi smartphone users to see day-to-day life from a different perspective.

As a community-driven company, the global top 40 entries will be chosen by Mi Fans. The final awards are split into two, namely the Mi Fans’ Choice Awards and the Jurors’ Choice Awards which will be announced on February 5, 2020.

The Xiaomi Photography Challenge was first held in 2017 and drew over 13,000 entries from across the globe. In the subsequent year, it saw over 90,000 Mi Fans participating in the same challenge.

This year, Xiaomi continues to push the boundaries of smartphone photography with the launch of its new photography smartphones and looks forward to more creative stories delivered with Xiaomi smartphones.
