Sony Ericsson P990 selling for cheap on Ebay

Just wanted to inform you guys that the P990 has become really cheap lately on Ebay. The most expensive being aound 390$ to the cheapest being 329$ US (from seller X1387). I remember when I bought mine in the end of August last year for over 800$. Talk about drop in value...I find this peculiar behavior with the seller. Is there such low demand for the P990 or are their units defective or something? Maybe some new Sony Ericsson UIQ phone (P1i?)is just around the corner and they want to get rid of P990 stock before the new phone arrives??
