Sony Ericsson appoints Kinson Loo as Head of Region China Sales and Marketing
Beijing, China – 20 June, 2007 – Sony Ericsson China announced today that Kinson Loo has been appointed Head of Region China Sales and Marketing to succeed Gunilla Nordström, who has decided to leave Sony Ericsson at the end of June to accept a new international management position outside the company.
Gunilla Nordström will join Electrolux as Head of Electrolux Major Appliances Asia Pacific and as Executive Vice President of AB Electrolux. She will be based in Singapore.
“Gunilla has made a huge contribution toward Sony Ericsson overall and particularly during her time in China. Her greatest legacy at Sony Ericsson China is the strength of the team that she has built in this important market, which is no small feat,”said Miles Flint, President of Sony Ericsson. “We wish her well in her new challenges ahead,” he added.
Kinson Loo, a native of Hong Kong, has extensive experience in the telecommunications industry, with both Ericsson and most recently Motorola where he held a similar regional role.
