Wallpaper* and Sony Ericsson asked four of their favourite designers to take inspiring images with the Sony Ericsson K810 Cyber-shot™ cameraphone to demonstrate its creative potential.

The days of not always having a camera on you seem a distant memory now that most mobile phones feature one as standard. Sadly, most of us are yet to experience the same quality of photos from them as we get with our digital cameras, but there are some truly innovative phones on the market.

Take, for example, the new Sony Ericsson K810, a stylish mobile phone that carries the Cyber-shot™ branding. With 3.2 mega pixels, its camera has the quality of a Sony digital camera and comes equipped with all the features you’d expect, including auto-focus, xenon flash and digital zoom. As a result, the calibre of the pictures taken using a Sony Ericsson Cyber-shot™ phone are guaranteed to be as sharp as that of most hi-spec digital cameras on the market. So sharp, in fact, that even the most creative people around us have decided to give it a try.

We asked four of our favourite designers to use the Sony Ericsson K810 Cyber-shot™ cameraphone over a few days to capture what inspires their creativity. And, over the following pages we get a peek into their studios and see what they chose to shoot.

We also want to find the creative photographer who can ‘wow’ us by capturing the artistic possibilities of a cameraphone with a single, striking image. So, together with Sony Ericsson, which has long been leading the way in cameraphone development, we’re launching the World View competition, a search for the best creative cameraphone photographers around the globe.
