LG to Showcase Top-Range Phones at China Expo
LG Electronics plans to showcase several state-of-the-art cell phones at the PT/Expo Comm China 2007, China¡¯s largest IT show that runs from Tuesday until Saturday, to consolidate its premium brand image in China. It will display the Viewty, Shine and Chocolate models plus mobile TV and third-generation phones in its 460-sq. m booth at the show.
The Viewty phone is LG¡¯s professional-level high-end model with an emphasis on the viewing function. Korea¡¯s second largest electronics maker is releasing the phone in China for the first time. Boasting a 5 megapixel camera lens approved by leading lens manufacturer Schneider Optics, the Viewty features automatic and manual focus, image stabilizer, and 120 frames per second super-speed video recording.
The Shine phone, which has its own separate zone at the show, comes in two types -- folder and bar -- and in titanium black, pink and gold. The Chocolate phone, which has sold some 14 million worldwide, comes in black, white, red and wine. There is also a new 3G version.
