ADVANCED AMERICAN TELEPHONES INTRODUCES AT&T-BRANDED CORDLESS PHONES WITH DECT 6.0 AND PROPRIETARY ANTENNA TECHNOLOGY
2008 AT&T Product Lineup Features Maximum Clarity, Superior Performance and High-Quality Design
Hong Kong – Advanced American Telephones, which manufactures AT&T branded telephones under a license agreement with AT&T Intellectual Property, today announced its 2008 lineup of cordless phones, featuring new Digital Enhanced Cordless Telecommunications
(DECT) 6.0 phone systems with state-of-the-art antenna technology for maximum range and clarity.
In addition, the AT&T lineup includes new models with the same value, versatility and high quality for which AT&T phones have come to be known. Consumers who want a strong, attractive look with high-performance, flexibility and security will enjoy the new 5.8 GHz corded/cordless phone systems.
Taking DECT Technology to a Higher Level
The new AT&T DECT 6.0 cordless phone systems provide consumers with longer talk ranges and better sound quality than traditionally offered by cordless phones, thanks to the latest DECT technology and proprietary state-of-the-art antenna technology. With interference-free clarity, these systems give consumers the freedom to roam farther around or outside their home while talking on the cordless phone.
In addition, the AT&T DECT 6.0 family features a sleek design and is expandable with up to 12 handsets. These DECT 6.0 systems also offer a simultaneous off-hook feature, enabling more than one system handset to be active on a call, and they are equipped with handset-to-handset call transfer, handset speakerphones, selectable ring tones and Caller ID*.
“The new AT&T DECT 6.0 models take the cordless phone experience to a new level, with better sound quality and longer call ranges not traditionally available in cordless products,” said Matt Ramage, vice president, product management, at Advanced American Telephones. “This new technology keeps AT&T phone systems at the forefront of the cordless market, while continuing to deliver the value and performance AT&T customers expect.”
Solutions for the Desktop
In addition to the DECT 6.0 family, the 2008 AT&T product lineup features two new models ideal for the study, as well as the home or small office. The new TL74108 is a 5.8 GHz corded/cordless phone system featuring Digital Spread Spectrum Frequency Hopping Technology. This phone system is loaded with value-added features, highlighted by the convenience and security of a corded desk set along with the flexibility of a cordless handset - all using a single phone jack. Other features include a dial-in base speakerphone for hands-free conversations and a fully
integrated digital answering system.
