BandRich to supply 3.5G data cards to US-based Stelera Wireless

Taiwan-based network-equipment maker BandRich, a subsidiary of High Tech Computer, has secured orders for its 3.5G HSDPA data card, the C105, from US wireless broadband operator Stelera Wireless, according to market sources.

The C105, which supports quad-band EDGE/GPRS/GSM and UMTS/HSDPA at 2100MHz, will be used to support Stelera's advanced wireless services (AWS), said the sources.

The C105 is designed with ExpressCard and USB interfaces and supports a downlink speed of up to 7.2Mbps.

Stelera focuses on providing broadband services to rural markets throughout the United States. Its services reach 300 cities in nine US states, according to company data.
