The Netsize Guide goes 2.0, features mobile industry survey & showcases exclusive interviews with senior executives from across the worldwide wireless

For the first time, the Netsize Guide surveys over 1800 mobile industry professionals from 79 countries for their views and attitudes on key issues impacting the mobile space. The Netsize Guide also features exclusive interviews with 25 senior executives and an insightful collection of telecoms data covering 27 countries.

Netsize, a leading mobile communications and commerce enabler, uses the occasion of the Mobile World Congress to launch the Netsize Guide, a comprehensive annual industry report documenting the state of the global mobile content and services market. Mirroring the increased interest in mobile, this new Netsize Guide is a whopping 290 pages and draws on in-depth research and exclusive interviews with industry executives and opinion-makers to provide professionals an essential snapshot of the developments that have taken place in 2007 and the trends that matter moving forward.

On the occasion of the 10th anniversary of Netsize, and in recognition of the tectonic shift to a participatory society, this 2008 issue of the Guide has invited "you", the readers, to join the discussion. This first-ever reader survey of 1,835 mobile communications industry professionals from 79 countries, conducted online by Netsize, makes the Netsize Guide a Mobile 2.0 reference work.

The Netsize Guide features:
• 25 interviews with industry senior executives at leading companies including eBay, Google, HighCo, Jamba, MSN, Nokia, PayPal, Visa, Vivendi Mobile Games, and Vodafone… to name a few.
• Exclusive results from a worldwide survey of 1,835 mobile communications industry professionals from 79 countries.
• Mobile telecommunications data covering 27 countries, and including the market value of mobile content and third party offers available for services such as mobile messaging, mobile internet and mobile payment.

“To mark a decade of prosperous and continuous growth for Netsize, we have provided our partners, prospects, customers and even competitors an opportunity to add their voice to ours. It’s also in recognition of the power of social networking, and the rise of a participatory society, that we have reached out to industry professionals in an online survey and combined their opinions and attitudes with in-depth interviews with senior executives to provide a comprehensive and well-balanced summation of the wireless telecommunications market in 2007 and where it's heading. Amalgamating these views with a summary of the major industry trends makes this Netsize Guide a first in every sense of the word," said Stanislas Chesnais, Netsize President & CEO.

The Netsize Guide comprises ten chapters, illustrating the 10th year of Netsize and providing detailed information on topics including mobile marketing, machine-to-machine (M2M), mobile payment, mobile gaming, mobile music, mobile TV, mobile communities and mobile search. Each chapter also features the relevant results of the extensive online survey conducted by Netsize in December 2007, as well as probing Q&A interviews with industry executives providing their vision on current trends.

“We want the Guide to have a place on every industry professional desk. We want our readers to pick it up on a regular basis; whether to know the number of 3G subscribers in Poland, to get the average pricing of a ringtone in Spain, to feed a presentation on a specific topic using the results of our survey, or to extract the vision of one of the top executives in this space,” Stanislas Chesnais added.

The Netsize Guide is available in PDF format (free download) or printed version (139 €). Please visit www.netsize.com or one of our distribution partner sites.
