In Russia, nearly 176 million subscribers of cellular communication

According to data analysis company AC & M Consulting, the number of users of cellular communications in Russia in July 2006 rose to 175.8 million (by number of existing SIM-cards). This was 2.8 million more than in June this year and 14 million more than in July 2007. The level of penetration of cellular communications in Russia, in turn, has exceeded 121% (for the month rose by almost 2%, and for the year - at 9.6%). With regard to the largest cities in Russia, as of July 30 in Moscow already had 172 SIM-cards per person, and in St. Petersburg - 157.

According to the AC & M Consulting, in Ukraine has 55.3 million cellular subscribers (by number of existing SIM-cards). This is at 0.13 million bolshn than in June 2008 and 3.5 million more than in July 2007. The level of penetration reached 119.6%.
