New equipment WiMAX Certified WiMAX Forum
The company Huawei Technologies announced that its new equipment WiMAX (base station DBS3900, fixed terminal BM625 and USB-modem BM325) has recently been certified by an international organization WiMAX Forum.
RBC DBS3900 production company Huawei is a distributed base station and consists of one module Indoor (to be installed on the premises) and one or more modules Outdoor (to be installed on the street). Unlike traditional solutions based on makrobazovyh stations, the product helps reduce the total cost of ownership and reduce the deployment of network infrastructure.
The new WiMAX-terminals Huawei has a compact design and stylish performance. USB-modem BM325, working in the range of 2.5 GHz, can be connected directly to a USB-port of a PC user. Fixed terminal BM625 supports two VoIP ports and four FE ports, which allows both to connect it with two conventional mobile phone and four PCs. Among the features of new terminals is worth noting the possibility of providing all the necessary classes of service, allowing subscribers to receive various services of superior quality. The new terminals support high-speed Internet access, work with e-mail, download large files, voice services over IP, video on demand, videoconferencing.
New equipment WiMAX Huawei has passed the necessary tests, which have recognized its compliance with the requirements of WiMAX Forum. Also, independent testing proved that Huawei provides an effective solution to work with products from other suppliers.
In the near future, the company Huawei plans to obtain certificates of WiMAX Forum and other types of BS, including micro, pico and macro base stations, as well as distributed BS to provide cover space complex in the frequency ranges 2.5, 3.5 and 2.3 GHz.
Moreover, soon scheduled for tests on the compatibility at the interfaces R3 (gateway access network - backbone network), R6 (base station - the gateway network access). Compatibility in the R3 and R6 interface will allow operators to use equipment from different vendors in the construction of infrastructure network WiMAX: for example, to install base stations a single supplier, and network gateway access - another. Thus, operators will have more freedom in choosing products to WiMAX, which will help reduce the cost of equipment and reduce their investment risks.
In addition to its own terminal equipment already certified WiMAX Forum, Huawei offers solutions in their products from other manufacturers terminals: Seowon, Infomark, ZyXEL. The company also intends to support the production of WiMAX devices, Nokia, Motorola and Samsung, when they appear on the market.
